The Microlight Event of the year ‘Spamfield 2010′ is about to begin and as always the Isle of Wight, is the Wight place to Party. On 11th - 13th June, expect to see hundreds of pilots fly into Sandown Airport from all over the UK, Ireland, and abroad.

Organised by the founder, John Moore, Spamfield is the place every year to meet fellow microlight pilots and a great excuse to go flying. Brian Milton said:

“Previously, a record-breaking 575 aircraft registered, and Spamfield attracted the first significant entries from overseas.

Spamfield’s unique character, not least its challenge to microlight pilots to experience that eternal frisson of crossing at least three miles of sea to get there, will continue to attract pilots.

The event is a huge social gathering of mainly UK but also international microlight aircraft.”
